5 years of CEPF funding

Dahari is celebrating 5 years of collaboration with and the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund by presenting the key results of the activities undertaken!


 

(I.e. During these 5 years, seven dormitory co-management agreements have been signed and 23% of the global population of the Livingstone flying fox is now protected

 

(I.e. 32 trees were planted by farmers on 100 hectares of priority watersheds in the Moya forest

 

(I.e. Maps of conservation priority areas have been published for endemic species of butterflies, birds, reptiles and mammals

 

(I.e. 20 people trained as part of the various projects:
1 doctorate at the University of Antananarivo
1 master's thesis at the University of Bristol
18 interns trained at the University of the Comoros

(I.e. 5 reforestation committees increased their tree production per nursery from 1 in 750 to 2016 in 5, and the survival rate of these trees increased from 000% to 2020%
