Salim holds a Master’s degree in Environment and Spatial Planning from the University of Antananarivo, which he first used as Head of the Anjouan Forest Service at the Regional Directorate of the Environment, and then as Head of Prospective Studies at the Regional Directorate of Urban Planning and Housing. He joined Dahari as a reforestation technician and mobiliser to oversee nurseries, georeference reforested areas, raise awareness among groups, and monitor agricultural activities.
