In 2018, Aniati undertook a study placement at Dahari focusing on the monitoring and counting of Livingstone’s flying foxes. The following year, she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences from the University of the Comoros. In 2023, she seized the opportunity to apply to Dahari’s forestry programme. After several months of work placements focusing on biodiversity monitoring and the aerial forest mapping project, Aniati joined Dahari as a staff member in 2024.
