Said specialised in rural development at the University of Picardie Jules Verne – France. In his capacity as UNDP/GEF Project Manager in the field of the environment from 1998 to 2006, he gained solid experience in the design and coordination of sustainable natural resource management projects, as well as in the organisational development of local communities. He is also well-versed in the workings of Comorian administration through his successive roles as Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, Secretary General of the Comorian Government, and Secretary General of the Assembly of the Union of the Comoros from 2006 to 2018. Today, he owns the Vanilla Lodge hotel in Mohéli.
