Dahari is celebrating 5 years of collaboration with the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund and is presenting the key results of the activities undertaken!<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\ud83d\udccd\"<\/span> Over the course of these five years, seven co-management agreements for roosting sites have been signed, and 23% of the total population of the Livingstone\u2019s fruit bat is now protected.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\ud83d\udccd\"<\/span> 32,100 trees have been planted by farmers across 430 hectares of priority watersheds in the Moya forest.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\ud83d\udccd\"<\/span> Maps of priority conservation areas have been published for endemic species of butterflies, birds, reptiles, and mammals.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\ud83d\udccd\"<\/span> 20 people trained as part of the various projects:<\/span><\/div>\n
1 PhD at the University of Antananarivo<\/span><\/div>\n
1 master\u2019s thesis at the University of Bristol<\/span><\/div>\n
18 trainees trained at the University of the Comoros<\/span><\/div>\n

\"\ud83d\udccd\"<\/span> Five reforestation committees increased their tree production per nursery from 1,750 in 2016 to 5,000 in 2020, and the survival rate of these trees rose from 68% to 90%.<\/span><\/p>\n
