British Embassy in Madagascar
The British Embassy in Madagascar has funded several projects, most recently the collaboration with the Anjouan Health Directorate for the COVID-19 response, notably through the collection of health data on Kobo software.
Embassy of France in the Comoros
The French Embassy in the Comoros has funded Dahari on several occasions since 2013, most recently for context studies and the expansion of our agricultural initiatives in Grande Comore.

Australian Embassy
The Australian Embassy in Mauritius funded the reforestation campaign from 2022 to 2023, as well as the marine program from 2024 to 2025.

University of Bangor
Professor Julia Jones supports the development and evaluation of the conservation agreements approach for our Forests Program

Blue Ventures
Blue Ventures is our major partner on the Marine Program. They provide us with support for all our marine work and also support the institutional development of the NGO

Bat Conservation International
Bat Conservation International has supported and funded Dahari since 2020 on research and conservation projects for the Livingstone flying fox. BCI is notably piloting the research project with GPS tags

Cartier For Nature
Cartier for Nature has provided key support for the implementation of our 2022-2027 strategic plan since the start of 2023. They notably finance our forests program and certain aspects of our agroforests program, as well as the professional development of our team and our structure.

CIRAD
Dahari has collaborated with CIRAD in several areas since 2014, notably via the GERMINATION networks on crop varieties and ECLIPSE on breeding.

Conservation Allies strengthens our ability to generate funds for our conservation actions.

CEPF
Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF) has been a key donor to Dahari since 2015, funding the evolution of our forest and marine programs, and the institutional development of the NGO.
CRDE of Domoni
Dahari collaborated with the Rural Economic Development Center (CRDE) of Domoni between 2013 and 2022 on the implementation of agricultural experiments, the multiplication of improved varieties and farmer training.

Darwin Initiative
The UK Government's Darwin Initiative is a key funder of Dahari in collaboration with our UK partners, funding our forestry and marine programs through various projects, including a fellowship for our Co-Director Misbahou Mohamed.

FAO
Dahari collaborated with two FAO projects between 2017 and 2022 for the promotion of agroforestry and fisheries management.

GRET
GRET supports us in the development of our agroforestry program at the strategic and technical level, especially thanks to their team in Madagascar

FIDA
Between 2019 and 2022, Dahari worked with the Productivity of Family Farms and Resilience Project (PREFER) funded by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) to support small producers on the island of Anjouan.
Governorate of Anjouan
As an NGO based primarily on the island of Anjouan, Dahari collaborates with the Governorate to support government policies. Dahari contributes to regional projects and particularly in support at times of crisis, e.g. post-cyclone Kenneth or during the Covid-19 pandemic.

ID
Dahari and Initiative Développement collaborate in particular on reforestation actions linked to the ylang-ylang sector.

INRAPE
Our collaboration with INRAPE focuses on agricultural research and improving productivity, but also concerns the monitoring of marine resources.

ISTOM
The ADI-Suds Research Unit (Agro-Development and Innovation in the South) of the ISTOM Higher School of International Agro-Development supports the development of our program at the Grille to Grande Comore between 2022 and 2023 via student projects and expertise contributions.

IUCN
Dahari is the only member of the International Union for Conservation of Nature in the Comoros.

Coconi LPA
The Lycée Agricole de Coconi in Mayotte and Dahari have been collaborating since 2013 through exchanges of training and innovative techniques in agricultural production.

Maliasili
After benefiting from the Marine Leadership Program in Africa in 2020, we have been working on our organizational development with Maliasili since 2024.

Maliasili
The McPike-Zima Foundation funds our marine programme for 2025.

Natura Bolivia
Natura Bolivia supports the development of the forest conservation agreement system through exchange visits and advice.

Northumberland Zoo
Northumberland Zoological Gardens has been funding our Livingstone's Fruit Bat conservation program since 2023

OAK
Oak Foundation finances our marine resources management program for the empowerment of fishing communities and the recognition of local management models via a multi-year project (2022-2025) awarded to our partner Blue Ventures. From 2019 to 2022, they also funded the development of fishing monitoring technologies for our marine program through funding provided to our partner Abalobi in collaboration with Blue Ventures.

RNAP
Our partnership agreement with the National Parks Agency delegates to Dahari the management of the KBA of the Moya forest, the Vassy marine area and the conservation of the Livingstone fruit bat in Anjouan.

PNM
Our partnership with the Mohéli National Park focuses on monitoring the population and conservation of the Livingstone flying fox.

PRERAD
The NGO Dahari is a partner of the regional platform in agricultural research for development in the Indian Ocean, a unique tool at the service of regional scientific cooperation. This tool helps increase the visibility and contribution of agricultural research to the sustainable agricultural development of the region.
Rufford Foundation
The Rufford Foundation has funded Dahari on several occasions for ecological research projects, most recently studies on the movements of the Livingstone's flying fox using GPS tags.

BLOOD
SANGO, partner of Dahari since 2020, is an ethical and responsible communication agency based in Madagascar which provides us with support in the production of our communication tools and the strengthening of the skills of our communication agents.

Anjouan Fishermen’s Union
The Anjouan Fishermen's Union supports the Marine Program in mobilizing fishermen's associations and cooperatives.

TUSK
Tusk Trust funds our Marine Program through annual grants awarded to Blue Ventures since 2016.

Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Environment, Tourism and Crafts
Dahari collaborates with the various Directorates of the supervisory Ministry to ensure consistency of its actions with the political orientations of the government.

UE
The European Union was a key donor to Dahari between 2014 and 2022, notably financing the expansion of agricultural activities.

U.S. Embassy in Madagascar and the Comoros
For 2022 and 2023, the U.S. Embassy in Madagascar and the Comoros is supporting Dahari through a project grant titled: “Strengthening the Rights of Disadvantaged Rural Farmers and Fishermen to Manage Natural Resources.”

University of Comoros
The partnership agreement with the University of the Comoros concerns joint research projects, including the program at the forest of Grille and on Livingstone's Roussette. The same applies to welcoming students for visits, internships and dissertations.
Oxford University
Professor Owen Lewis supports monitoring the ecological impacts of our forestry program based on conservation agreements.

World Agroforestry
ICRAF supports the development of our Agro-Forests Program through training in tree production, socio-ecological research and the development of participatory tree selection tools.
World Bank
Dahari has collaborated with the World Bank through projects targeting better fisheries governance in the Comoros, most recently SWIOFish-1 from 2017 to 2021.

WWF
WWF was a significant donor between 2014 and 2022, funding both the development of the Marine Program and the creation of our two strategic plans from 2015 to 2027.
