In 2016, Badrane obtained his Master's degree in Life and Environmental Sciences in Zoology at the University of Mahajanga. Since 2017, he has worked with Dahari as an intern on Livingstone counting, population and habitat monitoring, and GPS monitoring of Livingstones. In 2022, Badrane joined Dahari as a Technician on Livingstone's GPS tag research program. Today, he is involved in the Forest Program's activities on Conservation Agreements and monitors the support given to signatories of co-management agreements for dormitory sites for the protection of Livingstones.
